Coming Alongside

Our Association is privileged to equip our pastors and lay leaders in a number of ways. From formal training and conferences, to workshops and one-to-ones, our aim is to invest in our pastors to help them grow as men, as well as spiritually and practically.

“Growing Intentional Disciple-Making Cultures” – Navigators Church Ministry

We are excited to partner with Navigators Church Ministry (NCM) for training, individual discipleship coaching and also large-scale conferences like “Growing Intentional Disciple-Making Cultures” which we hosted in the past and look forward to hosting again soon.
Pastors Lunch and Learns

At least six times a year we set aside a Monday to host a Pastors’ Lunch & Learn to encourage to inform Pastors of various new ministry opportunities.For example, one year our DOM, Mike Kahn, shared on the epidemic of pornography in the churches.  We followed that up with Jeffrey Klein from the Q Place, which taught our pastors about starting evangelistic small groups in homes outside the church.

The Lunch and Learn has become part of the culture of our Association over the years, as we are able to fellowship, network, and of course, enjoy the famous “$5.00 steak.”

Women’s Discipleship ClassesAnnual Preaching Conference
Our Women’s Discipleship series meets on Saturday mornings four to five times a year. Contact Tami Webb (813) 935-3839 to learn more about an upcoming Women’s Class.
Annual Leadership Conference

Each August, we host a half-day (Saturday) Leadership Conference at Seminole Heights Baptist Church in Tampa. The event offers multiple tracks and features more than 25 break-out sessions.Make sure you are planning for this August’s conference as we expect it to continue to grow. Annual Preaching Conference
Every year we host a great preaching conference. We have been blessed to have Dr. Stephen Rummage as our instructor on more than one occasion (Click here for the videos). On another, we were able to have H.B. Charles Jr. come for a Friday night / Saturday morning schedule.
Annual Churches Planting Churches Training

In the past, we were fortunate to host a Churches Planting Churches training with veteran, pastor-trainer, Sean Pierce, from Albany, NY. Sean has helped churches in the Northeast for 20 years focus on disciple-making and leadership development as the foundations of a church planting.
