Coming Alongside
It’s our motto: Coming Alongside. The Greek noun is parakletos, which literally means “called to one’s side” or “called alongside” to comfort, exhort, and encourage. We seek to do that for our pastors and their families in a number of ways:

Pastors Monthly Gatherings (J15)

J15 is a monthly pastors’ gathering that is designed so that pastors can build genuine friendships with each other. This will enable pastors to more deeply love God (John 15:4-7), love each other (John 15:12-15, 17), and lead many of their church members to personally share the gospel and make disciples (John 15:8, 16).

Each J15 Gathering will include the following:

    1. Reminding Together – an interactive biblical discussion (no sermons allowed)
    2. Praying Together – earnest prayer based on God’s word
    3. Eating Together – friendships are more easily developed around good food

Pastors / wives Annual Christmas Party

We welcome in the Christmas season every year with a wonderful Pastors and Wives dinner. It is a great time of eating and fellowship and all are blessed to receive gift cards and other thoughtful blessings.

Pastors and Wives Annual Retreat

Each year the TBBA is able to help 15-to-20 pastors and their wives attend a two-night retreat designed to give them a special time together; strengthen their marriages; and bless them with helpful resources.
Church Planter Network

Pastors, church planters and revitalizers gather occasionally for fellowship, encouragement and practical helps.

Quarterly Executive Meetings

Join us once a quarter for a great time of official business and lunch fellowship. Our Executive Committee meetings focus on a specific are of ministry such as the book “The Art of Neighboring”, or “Pray for Every Home.com”, etc.

Triad Pastor Discipleship Groups

At least once or twice a year, Pastor Mike will lead a discipleship group using Web-X (online) meetings with three pastors over 15 sessions. These sessions are aimed at strengthening the pastors’ personal relationships with Christ, and encouraging them at the conclusion of the group to pass on what they have received by discipling men in their churches.
